If you mean with the Reporting Model, yes. Without Reporting Builder you will need Visual Studio.

Thanks for replying - It looks OK however the Reporting Builder program would have to be installed on the end users machines (meaning we would have to convince IT Departments to let them do this) and would have to use a DBA to set up the initial database models for each business. So I'm thinking this is probably not the best solution.
A reporting section is integrated within the current application that the user can configure. In the new application we didnt want to re-code this functionality and not to have a DBA to configure the reports and prefer not to install extra applications.
If you could think of any 3rd parties that are similar to Reporting Builder that could integrate with our application I would be really grateful? You mentioned Visual Studio - Will I be able to integrate it their?
